Enough about us and the project, let’s talk about yoú! To help us maintaining what is already here and creating our dream, we open up our premises to people who love to contribute from their heart, expertise and capacity.
We look for
People who love to contribute to our projects. You are pro-active, can manage your own time, and like to get things done! Reliable, flexible, responsible, and being able to work solo as well as in a team, are your qualities. You are open to feedback, not afraid to speak up for what you need and know when to ask for help.
You will receive
A bed in the CF in your own room. Three free meals a day. As a service to you Danny will prepare most of the food. But we expect you to prepare lunch or dinner at least once a week for Joyce, Danny, other volunteers if present, and of course yourself.
Daily Schedule
You put in 4 hours of work a day/20 hours a week. When you do this, is entirely up to you. If you’d like to have breakfast then prepare it yourself (Joyce and Danny don’t have breakfast). The ingredients you can find in the communal kitchen. We have lunch together around 12pm and dinner around 7pm. The rest of the day is your free time. You can enjoy the tranquility, explore the surroundings, do sports, work online, create art or anything else that you love to do. Oh, and Laika is álways up for a little walk with you!
Tasks
During lunch we will talk through the tasks for the day or following days, so that you can make your schedule.
Think of: cleaning, organizing, sewing, doing repairs / simple handyman tasks, creating content for social media stories, creating a vegetable/herbs garden, food forest, chicken house, compost place and collecting wood.
